Forecasters say temperatures will fall by some 8-10C on Thursday, with highs expected not to exceed 23-28C.
The reason for temperatures to come off the boil is the cold northwestern air that has spread across the whole of the Balkan Peninsula.
Heavy thunderstorms and spells of rain will pound the country this week, after which a stream of hot air will move onto its territory, making it perfect for sunbathing.
